The Huddersfield Fine Worsteds (HFW) fabric company is being helped by the UK Fashion and Textile Association (UKFT) to find a new method of shipping in Europe following Brexit. In order to keep supplying clients after the UK left the European Union, UKFT has been collaborating with HFW since the beginning of this year to modify its EU logistics and supply chains.

Iain Milligan, managing director of Huddersfield Fine Worsteds, stated, “I’m happy to announce we now seem to have a workable mechanism for exporting across Europe. It’s been a tough road. The business is currently operating through UKFT’s Dutch-based partner Greenway Logistics.

In a news release, UKFT stated that it has formalized its relationship with Greenway Logistics, giving UKFT member companies the chance to grow their logistics in the most effective and economical manner.
