On Sunday afternoon, Leeds United plays its final Premier League game of the 2022–23 season against a hot Fulham.

The Whites take on the West London team looking to get back to winning at home after losing their unbeaten streak against Arsenal last time out.

Fulham will travel to West Yorkshire with the intention of maintaining their strong start to the year. The Cottagers, who were promoted to the top division last season, have adjusted well to life there and are currently in ninth place with 15 points after 11 games.

Since the 2020–21 season, the two sides have faced off in the Premier League. That year, the Whites won twice, first in a nail-biting 4-3 home victory and then in a 2-1 away victory.

— Leeds United October 23, 2022 (@LUFC) Fulham has only triumphed once this year away from home, a 3-2 success at Nottingham Forest in September. Aleksandar Mitrovic, a Serbian international who has scored eight goals so far, poses the major threat for the Sunday visitors and is well-known for doing so.

Rodrigo continues to lead the Leeds offense following a strong start to the season with four goals, while Luis Sinisterra is close behind with one.

If they can win this weekend and get the three points, each of these teams will advance. With a game still to play, Marsch’s team may move up to 14th, while Fulham has the opportunity to climb as high as 7th at this early point in the season.

Head manager/coach:
What was mentioned by Jesse Marsch prior to the game?

They stretch the field incredibly well and play fantastic football. They have good passing ability. One of the league’s smartest players and a very dangerous player is Aleksandar Mitrovic. We’ll need to handle him properly. It won’t be simple because they had a strong campaign and a strong start to the year.
