The 2022 MTV Video Music Awards will take place at Newark’s Prudential Center on Sunday, Aug. 28, and the first round of performers includes J Balvin, Panic! at the Disco, Anitta, and Marshmello alongside Khalid.

Anitta, who will perform her brand-new track Envolver live for the first time ever on television, and Marshmello, who will play their current single Numb alongside Khalid, are both making their main stage debuts at the VMAs. At the occasion, Panic! at the Disco will also make their first appearance on the VMA stage since 2018 by premiering their brand-new song, Middle of a Breakup.

J Balvin, a 13-time nominee with five Moon Persons, will also make new music debuts at the VMAs Nivel de Perreo with Ryan Castro, where the Columbian superstar has a chance to become the most decorated Latin artist in VMAs history for In Da Getto.
