Aryan Khan, the son of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan, and seven other people were placed in 14-day judicial custody on Thursday in relation to the alleged seizure of from a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai.

The court said that their bail requests would be heard on Friday.
A request for an extension of NCB detention made by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) was denied.

Following a raid on a ship headed for Goa, the NCB detained Aryan Khan, Munmun Dhamecha, and Arbaaz Merchant on October 3. The other five were detained the following day.

At the conclusion of their earlier remand, they were presented before Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate R M Nerlikar. They were placed in judicial custody as the investigation agency requested an extension of their detention until October 11.
