Anitta has had a huge year since releasing her varied album Versions of Me, making history by becoming the first solo female performer from Brazil to play Coachella, and setting a Guinness World Record by becoming the first Latin solo artist to top Spotify’s Global 100 chart. Additionally, the singer said this week that the deluxe version of Versions of Me, which will include brand-new collaborations with Missy Elliott and Maluma, will be released soon.
On her Instagram, Anitta provided a little preview of the deluxe album before asking followers which music video they wanted to see first. She then stated that the song with Maluma is called El Que Espera and the Missy Elliott collaboration is titled Lobby. She earlier posted a snapshot of herself and Missy on her Instagram stories along with the caption, “I honestly can’t believe what’s happening right now,” to express her excitement about working with Missy. Missy praised Anitta as a star and one of the sweetest performers in a tweet that included the image.
@Anitta is one of the sweetest musicians, and yesterday I couldn’t stop giggling. You’re a Star! And you and your team treated me with such LOVE and KINDNESS, therefore I am extremely GRATEFUL. Let’s go, AAAAAA
