After being found guilty of many rapes at trial, a rapper from Los Angeles was given a sentence Monday that included at least 50 years in prison.

According to the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office, 27-year-old Kaalan Walker was found guilty in April on three counts of forced rape, two counts of statutory rape, and two counts of rape by drunkenness.

Walker was detained following his sentencing, according to City News Service. Walker was arrested in 2018 on the allegations and freed on bail.
Models who were the rapper’s victims claimed Walker contacted them on social media and offered to help them professionally, according to authorities.

According to City News Service, Walker would entice his victims to locations by claiming there was a music video shoot going on or that he would introduce them to a renowned person.

According to his victims, he sexually abused them when they were by themselves.

The rapper, known by his stage moniker KR, appeared in the 2018 film “Superfly” as a gang member and released an EP in 2017. He also made an appearance in the 2017 film “Kings,” which also starred Halle Berry and Daniel Craig.
